Nicholas Ryan-Purcell's 'Loughmore to the Front' is also part of the official selection at the 21AM film festival in Rome, Italy this month
Tipperary filmmaker Nicholas Ryan-Purcell's 'Loughmore to the Front' documentary continues to grow from strength to strength with the recent announcement the popular film is set to be shown in IMC cinemas.
In a recent announcement from Nicholas Ryan-Purcell Productions, Mr Ryan Purcell revealed that 'Loughmore to the Front' will be shown on the big screen in both Thurles and Kilkenny later this month.
Loughmore To The Front film: 20th October and 27th October at 8PM for both shows.
When: Monday 20th October Kilkenny IMC
When: Monday 27th October Thurles IMC Cinema (pictured below)
Runtime: 1 hour 45 minutes . IFCO PG Rating
Plot: The birth, decline and revival of an Irish community, spanning over one thousand years. The story includes the GAA, connections to Thurles town, Holycross Abbey, Limerick City, Nenagh Castle , the Cormack brothers.

This news comes hot on the heels that 'Loughmore to the Front' has been selected to be shown at an international film festival in Rome this month too.
A congratulatory letter from 21AM in Rome to Nicholas Ryan-Purcell said the following:
"Dear Nicholas,
"We are thrilled to inform you that your project, Loughmore To The Front, is now part of the Official Selection of the 21AM International Film Festival 2025!
"Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!
"Your work has profoundly impressed our selection committee with its creativity, passion, and storytelling and we are honored to have your project join this year’s lineup.
As part of the Official Selection, Loughmore To The Front is now eligible for consideration in our 22 award categories.
"This recognition highlights the incredible talent, vision, and dedication you’ve poured into your work, and we look forward to celebrating your contributions to the art of filmmaking."
In an interview last month, Mr Ryan-Purcell told the Tipperary Star that news of the film being shown in Italy was 'the icing on the cake' in what has been a whirlwind of a year since the film was initially released.
