An bright and colourful art exhibition by amateur artists from the Moore Haven Centre, Tipperary Town is now showing in the French Quarter Cafe, Excel centre for the month of January.

An bright and colourful art exhibition by amateur artists from the Moore Haven Centre, Tipperary Town is now showing in the French Quarter Cafe, Excel centre for the month of January.

The paintings were created during the Bealtaine Festival and for the Credit Union Art competition 2013 and were produced in a weekly class facilitated by local artist Marian McDonald.

The Moore Haven centre is a centre for adults in the mild to moderate range of intellectual disability.

Moore Haven provides a day centre for over 100 adults and a residential service to a number of adults from a catchment area that extends for a radius of up to 30-miles from Tipperary town including counties Tipperary and Limerick.
