World Day of Prayer – Old St Mary’s Church March 1st
Over 3 million people in Ireland and worldwide will take part in the annual World Day of Prayer ecumenical service on Friday March 1st. This years’ service has been prepared by Christian women in France. The Clonmel service will take place in Old St Mary’s Church at 8.00pm.
All parishes in the Clonmel area are participating: Old St Marys, Ss Peter and Paul’s, St Oliver’s, St Mary’s Irishtown, Powerstown/ Lisronagh and Kilsheelan/Kilcash. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
Bridgewater House Centre and Knocklofty Rural Day Service
The Soroptimists of Clonmel will hold a Table Quiz in Aid of Bridgewater House Centre and Knocklofty Rural Day Service in Hillview Sports Club on Wednesday, February 20th at 8.30 pm. Tables of 4 €20.
Please come along and support a very worthy cause.
Volunteers are needed in each of the parish areas to help distribute envelopes and other literature to parishioners a few times a year.
