A Tipperary hotel has awarded a staff member for her excellent work and cheery personality as she was named the team member of the quarter.
The Lakeside Hotel in Ballina have been celebrating Maeve Breen, who was named the hotel's team member of the quarter.
Maeve is the hotel's breakfast supervisor, and she is well known in the hotel for her "familiar and friendly face", the hotel said, adding that she "shines every day as our Breakfast Supervisor and she’s just as well-known and loved around town too.
"We’re so lucky to have her as part of our team," they added.
The dedicated breakfast supervisor was given a €100 One4All voucher in appreciation of her work, as well as a bottle of bubbly and a recognition certificate.
The hotel also paid tribute to the other team member of the quarter nominees, who each took home a €50 One4All voucher.
The other nominees for team member of the quarter were Gemma Spaight, Zara McFerran, Sara Lancaster, Pawel Zawada, Lewis Coleman, and Hugh Costello.

"A massive thank you to Maeve and all of our nominees for their incredible hard work, dedication, and positivity," the local hotel added.
