Gardaí from the Cahir Roads Policing Unit seized a car this morning from a driver trying to "hide" from a checkpoint.
They said on social media that while out conducting a checkpoint with the Road Safety Authority, they spotted a car turn around and "hide" in the driveway of a home.
Gardaí followed and after making enquiries, discovered the car had no insurance, NCT or tax.
Gardaí said:
"Roads Policing Gardaí have a very particular set of skills. Skills they have acquired over a very long career. They will look for you. They will find you."
