Scare in Cahir takes place t his weekend
Tickets are sold out for the Scare in Cahir 2025 taking place on this Sunday, October 26, 2025. And after going on sale on Tuesday, October 7 only!
But preparations are still ongoing and exciting events and activities are now being finalised. Keep an eye on their social media and watch this space for updates, workshops, events & competitions.

A weekend full of fun is promised and on Saturday October 25 it starts with the annual pumpkin competition, the Animal Roadshow, face painting and much more taking place at Cahir Farmers’ Market.
The famous Monster raffle will be taking place again this year with a €500 Smyth’s Toy store voucher up for grabs. The excitement is building and thanks to all for the support of our annual fundraiser.
Volunteers are needed for Scare in Cahir on Sunday, October 26, from 4 to 8PM. To apply please call Rona on 0879835318 or click the button for the role you are interested in. Volunteers are needed to help direct participants and show them the way upon arrival.
All you need is your courage, a flashlight, and a spooky costume (optional) to join in the fun!
Important Notice - Come prepared for the spooky ‘Scare in Cahir’ Walk this Sunday, October 26, 2025. It’s an outdoor, all-weather event, dress spooky but dress warm. Bring your own torch/flashlight if you like but please be respectful to our actors and don’t shine lights in their faces.
Tickets are required for all visitors (adults and children). Under 3’s go free and parental discretion is advised.
This event is strictly by ticket only.
Please have your tickets ready on your phone or printed for scanning at entry point and No refunds (even if it gets a little scary).
