Planning permission has been sought by a school in Tipperary to construct a new all-weather sports facility on their premises.

Coláiste Dún Iascaigh with an address on Cashel Road in Cahir submitted plans to the council last week outlining that the new development will be to the rear of the school in Cahir.

Plans for the new development include a three lane, 400-meter athletic running track, with a six lane, 100-meter sprint track, and an all-weather pitch for soccer and GAA games.
