Bunscoil na Cathrach students
December 11, 2025 was a truly memorable day in Bunscoil na Cathrach as sixth class students in Cahir hosted their Christmas Charity Market in the school hall.
The pupils had spent weeks preparing for the event, creating a wonderful range of handmade products to sell at their stalls. A delicious selection of homemade treats was also available to purchase on the day.

Santa, Mrs Claus and the elves were kept very busy as the younger children in the school called to the grotto and made their Christmas wishes, adding to the excitement and festive atmosphere. The hall was filled with Christmas cheer as members of the school community came together to support the event.
Huge credit must go to the Sixth Class pupils, who put in a tremendous effort both in the lead-up to and on the day itself. They were delighted to raise an incredible €4,534.50 for the Dillon Quirke Foundation.
