West Devon drivers face two weeks of disruption amid car park space closures

A review on parking in Tipperary is taking place

There has been lots of online discussion around the issue of parking charges in Cahir and throughout Tipperary in recent weeks, so why not have your say!

Cllr Andy Moloney has informed us that as part of a county-wide review on parking charges, submissions are invited to be made on the link below before March 13.

Currently all areas where parking has charges or free on street will be up for discussions as there is a need to turnover parking faster on streets in all towns across the county. This could mean a reduction in parking times allowed and an increase in free parking in other towns to find a balance.

At a recent meeting of the Tipperary County Council, the new car park in Cahir was up for discussion and 20 minutes free and 50c for the first hour was passed.

This bye law would not change under the new proposal, but the on-street times would be reduced.
