Uisce Éireann announces planned water outage for several rural Tipperary communities

Uisce Éireann has given notice of a planned water outage that will impact the water supply serving customers in Ballypatrick and surrounding communities in south Tipperary next Tuesday, September 9.

The outage is necessary to facilitate essential water mains upgrade works in the area.

Customers in Ballypatrick village, Kylanoreashy, Ballydine, Ballynahara , Dovehill, Deerpark , Ballyneale , Faugheen, Lisadobber, Figlash, Cregg, Mainstown, McCreary, Ballyrichard, Mullagh, Butlerstown and the surrounding area may experience some disruption to their supply on Tuesday, 9 September from 10am to 4pm.

Uisce Éireann’s Dave Murphy said: We understand the inconvenience caused by an interruption to supply. Every effort will be made to limit the impact of these essential works, and we would like to thank the community in advance for their patience and co-operation.

“Following the completion of the works, it can take two to three hours for normal water supply to return to customers as water refills the network, particularly for those properties on higher ground or at the end of the network.”
