Carrick Swan GAA Club
Carrick Swan Premier Intermediate hurlers battled it out with St Mary’s in a thrilling encounter that went right down to the wire. The team showed real grit and came away with a hard fought one point victory. The Club now await details of the county quarter-final fixtures.
The Club's Junior A footballers play Ballylooby/Castlegrace in Clonmel Sportsfield in the South Final on Sunday, September 14 at 2pm.

The Junior B Hurlers face Killenaule in the South semi-final after a strong 2-15 to 0-10 victory over Moyle Rovers last week.
The semi-final will be played on Sunday, September 21 at 12 noon in Fethard.
Meanwhile, the Junior B camogie team played Clonoulty Rossmore on Sunday but were unfortunately beaten.
U13 Shield Competitions
The Club's first team defeated Moyle Rovers in division two match and will next play Fethard on September 16.
The second Under 13 team play Clonmel Og in Ned Hall Park on Wednesday in a division five match.
In other Juvenile news, the Under 9 hurling team played in Semple Stadium at the Fiserv Blitz. It was a fantastic day for the players, mentors and families.
And Under 8 camogie players Camogie took part in a brilliant blitz in Clonmel Sportsfield. It was great fun and experience for all involved.
