Carrick Swan GAA Club commiserates with its Premier Intermediate hurling team who were beaten by Upperchurch in the county final on Sunday against Upperchurch.

Final Score: Carrick Swan 1-14, Upperchurch 2-17. See Sports section for match report.

As a club we could not be prouder of your effort and commitment throughout the year,” said a Swan Club spokesperson.

Meanwhile, the Junior B Hurlers defeated Knockshegowna in the county quarter-final.

Final score: Swan 2-12, Knockshegowna 1-7.

The Junior A Footballers play Boherlahan Dualla in the county final on Saturday, November 1 at 2:30pm in Monroe.

The Under 21 B footballers face Ardfinnan in the South quarter-final on Wednesday, October 29.

The Under 17 A footballers take on Clonmel Óg on Sunday, November 1 in Páirc na nEalaí. Time to be confirmed.

Finally, all at Carrick Swan GAA Club extend deepest condolences to the McNamara family of Collins Park, the Keane family of Garravoone, Carrickbeg and the Denby family of Cavan and Carrick on their recent bereavements.
