'Absolutely untrue,' rumour debunked about Tipperary establishment being used for refugees

Shocking amount of misinformation on the immigrant crisis circulating in Tipperary

A "rumour" posted to Facebook on Saturday evening regarding Kearney's Castle/Grants in Cashel being used for International Protection Application Services applicants or refugee accommodation has been rebuffed. 

Cllr Liam Browne said: "I've had some discussions with the family, and they want to make it clear it is absolutely untrue.

"They've no idea where the rumour has come from, and want to make it categorically clear, they have no intention of the premises being offered for IPAS accommodation."
