'Gone too soon' - Tributes paid following sad and sudden death of Clonmel man

Patrick (Pa) Landy passed away on Monday

Tributes have poured in following the sad and sudden death of Patrick (Pa) Landy, late of Elm Park, Clonmel, co Tipperary.

Pa passed away unexpectedly on Monday. He is pre-deceased by his son Patrick and mother Lily.

Pa will be sadly missed by his loving wife Breda, sons Christopher and Martin, daughters Michelle, Susan, Deborah and Stephanie, their partners, grandchildren Amy, Kirsty, Tristan, Adam, Aisling, Aoife, Conor, Leon and James, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Pa, with one mourner writing,

"Sincere sympathy to you Noreen and to all of Pa's family at this sad time. Pa is reunited with his mam Lily and his son Patrick. Rest in Peace Pa."

Another wrote,

"To all the Landy family, we are very sorry to hear of the loss of Pa . We are praying that you might get strength and comfort at this sad time."

While another wrote,

"Sincere condolences to Breda & family on the sad loss of your husband Patrick. May God comfort you all at this very sad time. May he rest in peace."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at his home on Thursday (September 5) evening for family and close friends from 3pm to 6pm.

Removal on Friday morning to St Oliver’s Church. Funeral Mass on arrival at 11am.

Burial will take place afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery. House private on Wednesday and Friday please.
