The HSE have released figures for the monthly amount of patients on waiting lists in two Tipperary hospitals, Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel and Nenagh Hospital.
The figures reveal that 462 people were on a waiting list in Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel for the month of February.
Of these figures, there were 395 adults and seven children waiting for elective care in the hospital.

12 of these adults have also been waiting between 12 and 18 months to receive treatments, with 48 of them waiting between six and 12 months.
In Nenagh, figures show that a total of 1,406 people were on waiting lists at the hospital for the month of February.
In total there were 916 adults and seven children waiting for elective care at the hospital.

Three adults have been waiting longer than 18 months on a waiting list while 38 adults have been waiting between 12 and 18 months.
443 adults have been waiting on the list for between six and 12 months also.
