Joe Roche is a music therapy teacher at the CBS High School Clonmel
An exhibition charting the story of the CBS High School Clonmel is currently running at the Tipperary Museum of Hidden History in Clonmel.
This year the High School is celebrating the 125th anniversary of the foundation of the school.
The exhibition will remain open until June 7.

Former High School student, Joe Roche, a professional singer and music therapist, is now part of the highly skilled High School care team working six hours a week with first year and TY students.
“I think the High School is unique in terms of the comprehensive care team now in place.I don’t think there is a secondary school in the country that has such a care team and we are only scratching the surface in terms of the needs of the student,” he said.
His specialty, music therapy, is now part of the setup up and Joe has introduced drumming as a way of exploring different approaches to collaboration, teamwork, and how to make the best use of resources.
