It is fantastic to hear that the artworks of the late Sean Walsh of Ballydrehid, Cahir are on exhibition in Clonmel Library.
The exhibition was curated by Seans daughter Niamh and the launch took place last Wednesday, September 3 and will run until this Saturday September 13, so make sure to check it out.

Sean’ s family, his wife Nuala, Daughter Niamh, Son Aaron, their partners and grandchildren were among those at Clonmel Library on the night for a special viewing for family and friends.
Sean Walsh was not only a musician and teacher but a wonderful artist too. This retrospective exhibition showcases Sean’s artwork spanning 2 decades.
Sean worked with several mediums and the exhibition works include stained glass, crushed stone, carving, and painting in acrylics and pastels. Not surprisingly, music and nature are evident in his beautiful artworks as Sean always enjoyed both.

This exhibition is a wonderful tribute to Sean’s lifelong passion for art and showcases the amazing talent that Sean possessed and we now all get a chance to see it. The exhibition can be viewed during Clonmel library’s opening hours from now until Saturday, September 13 and is definitely worth a visit.
