The Presidential election will be held on Friday October 24

The Sixth Year students at Loreto Secondary School in Clonmel have invited Jim Gavin, Heather Humpries and Catherine Connolly to attend a public Presidential debate/Q&A session at the school in October.

In a statement, the students say "Our aim is to provide a platform for all Presidential candidates to present their vision, answer questions from the students and engage in respectful discussion on issues affecting both Tipperary and Ireland as a whole.

"We expect attendance from students, staff, local groups, media, local public representatives and members of the public.
