Irish soprano, Kelley Petcu
The annual Christmas Festival Concert will take place at Ss.Peter & Paul's church in Clonmel on Sunday December 7th.
This is the 25th. anniversary of this popular well well-established event.

An incredible line-up of talent is arranged and a feast of popular and festive music is guaranteed with the Clonmel concert Band. It includes soloists Kelley Petcu (nee Lonergan), Joe Roche, Polly Roche and Andrea Ruth Houlihan.
Irish soprano, Kelley Petcu, described by The Irish Times as "a natural” is a recipient of several awards, including the esteemed RDS Music Bursary.
She is also a multiple prizewinner at Feis Ceoil, Dublin, including the John McCormack Bursary, the Mrs. P.J Geoghegan Memorial Cup and the Gervase Elwes Cup.
As a soloist, Kelley made her debut with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra in a lunchtime recital at the National Concert hall which was broadcast live on Lyric fm.
She has also taken part in the Cork Operatic Society concert series, singing the role of Barbarina in La nozze di Figaro and Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflote. Kelley played leading roles in an innovative trilogy of site-specific operas, written by composer Tom Lane and presented by the Cork Opera House, two of which were nominated for an Irish Times Theatre Award for Best Opera, Front of House (2017) and The Stalls (2019).

She has sung in the chorus of Irish National Opera, Wexford Festival Opera and Opera Theatre Company. Kelley also has a passion for chamber music and song repertoire and has sung in several Irish festivals including Ortus, Finding a Voice, Junction and Westport Chamber Musical festivals. Kelley is currently very much enjoying her lecturing post on the BA in MusicalTheatre at the MTU Cork School of Music.
