Roisín Ryan (nee Doyle) Lennox Street, Dublin and Lackendaragh Upper Enniskerry.

12 July 2025. Peacefully under the exceptional care of Leeson Park Nursing Home, Ranelagh Dublin. Predeceased by her daughter Éadaion, Roisín will be sadly and very deeply missed by her husband Joe Ryan, children Ciannait and Oran, her sisters Peggy and Betty, Her son-in law Jim and her grandchildren Fionn, Cian, Aoibh, Oisín, Siúin and Caolan, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Greys Funeral Home, Templemore, Co Tipperary (e45 tr83) on Monday 14th of July 2025 from 6pm to 8 pm.

Funeral Mass in St John the Baptist Church Castleiney,Co Tipperary on Tuesday 15th of July at 11-30am. Interment afterwards in Templeree Cemetery.

Frank Reynolds

Swords, Co Dublin, formerly of Mohill, Co Letrim and Drombane Village, Co Tipperary. Frank passed away peacefully in Beaumount Hospital Dublin. Pre-deceased by his parents Tom and Mary Ellen, brother Joseph and sister Maura. Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary (Gleeson Drombane Village Co. Tipperary), son Thomas, daughter Joan (Shanahan Upperchurch, Co. Tipperary), son in law Gerard, daughter in law Andrea and Thomas’ partner Linda, grandchildren Dwyne, Megan, Amy, A.J. and Caroline, great-grandchildren Callum and Theo, sister Nancy, brother Tom, brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at O’ Dwyer’s Funeral Home, Upperchurch (E41 FN34) on Tuesday,15th July from 5.30pm with removal at 7.30pm to St. Mary's Church, Drombane. A month's mind memorial mass will take place in St. Finian's Church, River valley, Swords, Co. Dublin.

Sr. Regina Powell

Sr. Regina Powell, Sisters of Mercy, Ashe Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Annaholty House, Birdhill, Co. Tipperary, died peacefully, in University Hospital Limerick, om 13th July 2025. Predeceased by her parents Henry and Bride (nee O'Dwyer) and her sister Eleanor Hourigan-Powell.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, her sisters Patricia (Brennan) and Adelaide (Mangan), nieces Regina (Mangan) and Harriet (Carroll), nephews Peter Joe Mangan and Michael Hourigan-Powell, grandnieces, grandnephews, her Mercy Community, relatives and friends.

Reposing on Tuesday July 15th at Ryan's Funeral Home, Nenagh (E45 KN93), from 5pm until 7pm, followed by removal to St. Mary of the Rosary Church, Nenagh (E45 YH29), arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am followed by burial in Lisboney Lawn Cemetery. The Funeral Mass can be viewed by clicking on the webstream link below.

Her family and Mercy Community would like to acknowledge the excellent care that Sr. Regina received from the staff in University Hospital Limerick.

Alma O'Connell
(née Dee)

Alma O'Connell (née Dee) of St. Saviour, Jersey, Channel Islands and formerly of Monadreen, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, who passed away after a long illness surrounded by her loving family under the exceptional care of The Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea, London on Wednesday 9th July 2025. Predeceased by her father Tom. Sadly missed by her loving husband Kevin, sons Tom and Liam, daughter Alice, mother Kay, sisters Marianne, Elsa and Katherine, brother Michael, sister-in-law Karen, brothers-in-law Donal, Peter, Kieran, Colm and Pat, mother-in-law Helen, her aunts Mary and Marguerite, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours friends and her beloved dog Ollie.

A memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Friday 25th July at Bothar na Naomh Church, Thurles, Co. Tipperary (E41 KF98). A Private Cremation will take place at a later date.

No flowers please. Donations if desired to a cancer charity of choice.

(née Nugent)

McDONALD (née Nugent) (Ballybrack, Co. Dublin and formerly of Bally Glasheen, Co. Tipperary) – July 13th 2025 (peacefully) in the wonderful kind care of the staff at Marlay Nursing Home. Brigid (Breda); dearly beloved wife of the late Frank, sister of the late Seamus and baby brother John, much loved and devoted mother of Fergal and Morgan. She will be very sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter-in-law Jessica, adoring grandchildren Adelaide and Rory, brother Sean, nieces, nephews, cousins, all her relatives and friends at home and abroad.

(née Butler)

Brid Lawlor (nee Butler), Richmond, Templemore, Co Tipperary and formerly of Toher, Templetuohy (retired NT) died peacefully on 12th July 2025, in the wonderful care of Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Cashel.

Pre-deceased by her husband Sean, her parents Martin & Margaret (Gretta) Butler, her brother Tom, her cherished daughter in law Sinead and her brothers-in-law Michael, Dan and Tom.

Deeply regretted by her sons Declan and Brian, her sisters Angela O’Kelly (Thurles), Carmel Campion (Moyne), brothers Michael (New York), Eddie (New Jersey). Sadly, missed by her grandsons Sean, Cillian and Odhran, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Rose Brett (nee Bradshaw) Pearse Park Clonmel & formerly of Drumdeel Fethard, peacefully at home aged 92 on Monday 14 July 2025. Predeceased by her husband Richie, son John, grandson baby Seamus, sisters Margaret, Mary, Angela and Johanna, brothers George, Joe and Bill. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Anna, Marian and Tracy, grandchildren Andrew, Seán, Emily, Kate, Michael, Moyà and Rowan, great-grandchildren Paul and Jason, sisters Anna, Betty,Chrissie and Ena brothers Pat & Mattie, sons in Law Ollie, Seamus and Trevor, granddaughter in law Kristin, nephews, nieces, brothers-in- law, sisters-in-law, Her relatives, good neighbours and old friends.

Reposing at O’Donoghue’s Funeral Home, Kickham Street, Clonmel (E91 PK19) on Tuesday evening from 5pm to 7pm.

A private burial will take place.

The family would like to thank her Carer friends Moira, Cheryl, Caroline and Ann, her wonderful Doctor & Friend Dr Colman Walsh, Marjorie and Mary Street Medical Centre, the kind & helpful staff of Quirke’s Pharmacy.

Her tears are dry now, peace at last.

Philip Fahey, Glenbreeda, Borrisoleigh, July 14th 2025. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff in the Heart and Lung Transplant ward and CTHDU at the Mater Hospital Dublin. Sadly missed by his heartbroken parents Martin and Geraldine, sister Gráinne and her partner Keelan, uncles Richard, Seamus and Billy, aunts Mary, Margaret, Josephine, Sarah, Therese, Marian and Joan, grandaunts, uncles-in-law, aunts-in-law, relatives, neighbours, and a large circle of friends.
