Mary Slattery Née Bowe Main Street, Drangan, Co. Tipperary September 24th 2025 peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the outstanding care of all the staff in South Tipperary General Hospital Clonmel. Predeceased by her mother Elsie, father Mick and sister Phyllis. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Anthony, daughter Dawn, son Mark,son-in-law Adrian, daughter-in-law Jean, granddaughter Sophie, sisters Paula and Anne brothers Sean, Pj and Michael brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Mary will be fondly remembered by many.

Reposing in Brett's Funeral Home, Mullinahone (E41EV78) on Saturday September 27th from 5pm - 8pm. Requiem mass on Sunday September 28th at 11 am in The Church Of The Immaculate Conception, Drangan followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Palative Care Team and to all those who cared for Mary throughout her life and illness.

Elizabeth (Bette) Creagh Brennan

Elizabeth (Bette) Creagh Brennan of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Bansha, Co. Tipperary and Swinford, Co. Mayo, died peacefully at home on 24th September 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Sadly missed by her only daughter Kirsten Brennan, son-in-law Trevor Bailey, grandchildren Alex and Ava, brother Patrick Creagh and by her extended family and friends.

 

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Mary Bridget Creagh, sister Mareta Michael, brother-in-law Alastair, brother John Creagh and sister- in-law Nuala.

 

Bette’s funeral will take place privately.

 

John (Jack) Hayden

John (Jack) Hayden,

Streamstown, Roscrea, Co.Tipperary (E53 C567)

 

Died 24th of September 2025, recently predeceased by his wife Teresa.

 

Deeply regretted by his loving daughters Edel and Orla, son Gerard, sons-in-law Brendan and Jimmer, daughter-in-law Julieanne, brother Tom, brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Eoin, Ciara, Luke and Jessica, great granddaughter Lucy, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

 

 

Reposing on Saturday at his residence (E53 C567) from 4 o'clock until 7 o'clock.

Private removal on Sunday to St. Mary's Church, Shinrone for Funeral Mass at 2 o'clock followed by burial afterwards in the New Cemetery Shinrone.

 

Family flowers only please donations if desired in lieu of flowers to The friends of Tullamore Hospital .

John McCarthy

John passed peacefully in the wonderful care of St. Anthony's Unit, Clonmel with his family by his side. Predeceased by his son William, he will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Noreen, daughter Rita, sons Alex and Jason, brother Mick (Yorkshire), daughters in law Lorraine and Sarah, grandchildren Caoilfhionn, Jack, Niamh, Tara, Adam, Rian and Graham, great grandchildren Cait, Max, Rory and Elijah, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

Reposing at Costigan's Funeral Home on this Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm. John's funeral cortége will leave his home at 11:30am on Saturday morning, arriving to St. Mary's Church, Cahir for Requiem Mass at 12pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
