With the festive season over for another year, Tipperary County Council has announced a free Christmas tree return scheme for residents seeking a proper and safe removal process.

With the festive season over for another year, Tipperary County Council has announced a free Christmas tree return scheme for residents seeking a proper and safe removal process.
People can remove their Christmas trees in the following areas of the county with nine different locations around Tipperary which include.
  • Clonmel recycling centre, Carrigeen, Clonmel
  • Waller ’s-Lot Recycling Centre, Cashel
  • Donohill Recycling Centre, Tipperary
  • Fair Green Car Park, Carrick-on-Suir
  • Nenagh Recycling Centre, Nenagh
  • Roscrea Recycling Centre, Roscrea
  • Templemore Town Park, Templemore
  • Parnell Street, Car Park, Thurles
  • County Council Depot, Cahir Business Park, Cahir.
The scheme lasts for two weeks from January 2 until January 16, so still plenty of time to get rid of the festive clutter and start the new year right.
