Angela Fewer - A Better Place.
This Valentine’s week, linn gallery invites the community to ‘Fall in Love with Art’ through its new exhibition: ‘Urban Canopy’.
The exhibition explores the vital and often complex relationship between trees and our urban landscape.
In a rapidly heating world, the role of trees has never been more critical.
As we continue to develop our towns, we find ourselves in a paradox: the more we build, the more we rely on the resilience of trees to keep our streets cool and liveable..

Urban Canopy illuminates this tension, showcasing artworks that capture the struggle and symbolic power of trees within our urban fabric.
Featured artists include: Iryna Chernieva, Angela Fewer, Jacqueline Gartland, David Kavanagh, Dave Madigan, Tetiana Milshyna and Ellen O’Connor.
The exhibition will be officially opened on Friday 13 February at 5pm by Dr. Alan Moore of Hedgerows Ireland and the SuirCan Environmental Forum.

Dr. Moore’s expertise in environmental advocacy perfectly complements the theme of the show, which aims to spark
conversation about how we balance modern growth with the natural world.
“We want this show to offer a fresh perspective,” says curator Máire de Leastar.
“I invite you to come see each artist’s response and unique perspective on this theme, the results are truly unexpected and intriguing.”
To celebrate the opening on Friday 13 February, the gallery is hosting a "Lucky 13" event: the first 13 visitors through the door on opening night will receive a 10% discount on any artwork they fall in love with from the exhibition.
