“This funding ensures they can continue to do so with dignity and freedom of movement. The current vehicle has served us well, but it’s time for a modern, comfortable upgrade that reflects the value we place on every member of our community.

“I want to thank everyone who supported this effort—from families and service users to the dedicated staff at the Irish Wheelchair Association. Your voices were heard, and together we’ve delivered a meaningful result.

“I’ll continue to fight for inclusive services and equal opportunities for all in South Tipperary.

“This is just one step forward, and I look forward to seeing the new bus on the road soon—bringing smiles, mobility and momentum to those who need it most,” Senator Goldsboro added.
