Sunday was a red letter day for Jimmy Feehan, when he made his 100th appearance for the Tipperary senior footballers during their defeat by Wicklow in the National Football League game in Clonmel.
After the game, the Killenaule player was presented a commemorative jersey by the Friends of Tipperary Football, and before the game he was given a guard of honour by his team mates as the teams emerged onto the pitch.
Leading the tributes, Tipperary manager Philly Ryan said “Jimmy started as a minor in 2012, winning a Munster title.

“He won an Under 21 in 2015, senior in 2020 and here he is five years later with his 100th game.

“It's not an easy thing to do for Tipp to keep going for that many years, and to have many games under your belt”.
