CREATE Property Staging was born from that passion — and from a real need I saw in Ireland’s property market. Selling a home is more than just listing it. It’s about telling a story, sparking imagination, and helping buyers feel something the moment they walk through the door (or scroll through the listing!).

When I first discovered home staging, I knew it was the perfect fit — not just for me, but for sellers who wanted a better way to present their homes and achieve the results they deserved. While home staging is still fairly new here in Ireland, it’s already changing the way people sell — and we’re proud to be at the heart of that shift.

1. What first sparked the idea for your business?

My parents were downsizing and put our family home up for sale. I was so disappointed when I saw that the listing photos didn’t reflect the properties potential.

After that experience, I offered to help anyone I knew selling to present their homes for sale without even realising at the time that what I was doing was professionally known as home staging.

While on maternity leave I came across a home staging staging course and everything clicked - this was something I could build into a business. I signed up the very next day, and I haven’t looked back since.

2. How would you describe what your business does best?

Professional home staging is about preparing a property for the market in a way that maximises both its value and its appeal. Done well, it helps homes sell faster — and often for a higher price.

Our role is to present each property to a standard that immediately captures attention. Staging ensures buyers stop scrolling and think “This is the one.”

3. What advice would you tell yourself if you were starting over?

If I were starting over again, I would put systems in place from day one. When you’re in the early stages, it feels manageable to keep everything in your head — quotes, timelines, client details, invoices, installs. But as the business grows, that mental juggling act quickly becomes overwhelming.

4. Where do you see the business heading next?

Our ambition is to become the leading home staging professionals in Munster. As the property market continues to evolve, presentation has never been more important, and we see enormous opportunities to set the standard for excellence in the region.

5. Do you have a personal motto you live by?

Say yes and figure it out later. You’ll never feel fully ready. Start anyway. Most growth comes from saying yes and learning quickly.
