Fred Daly competition team in this golf club in Tipperary is going great guns

The Cahir Park team that beat Tipperary in the second round of the Fred Daly competition

Cahir Park Golf Club's Fred Daly team were back in action in round two against Tipperary under the guidance of manager Gareth Saunders and selector Neil Carey, along with the assistance of Susan Carey and Imelda Fitzpatrick.

The Fred Daly Trophy is a prestigious inter-club golf competition in Ireland for junior male golfers. 

This was another close game, with a 3-2 win for the Cahir team.

The lads are on a great run and appreciate all the support to date.

They await the result of Faithlegg and Clonmel to see who they play in round three.

Their focus now turns to their opening game of the Junior Irish Foursomes on this Saturday, May 17 at home with a 3.10pm tee off.
