Congratulations to the the Cahir Cubs who received their Stage 3 Emergencies Badges last week
Cahir Scouts welcomed county commissioner Niamh Fenton to their investiture night last week. Niamh presented Group Leader Aoife with her five year service award and Scout Leader Tara was also presented with her 15-year service award.
Congratulations to Aoife and Tara and a massive thank you to Niamh for last Saturday.
Cahir Scouts had been hard at work earning their Emergencies badge and county commissioner Niamh Fenton presented all the Scouts with their stage 5 badges and the Cubs received their stage 3 emergencies badge last Friday night too.
Congratulations to our Scouts who were invested on Friday night of February 5 also. Well done everyone.
Some of the beavers made kites last week and we are just waiting on a hike so we can try them out. Congratulations to Harry who completed his special interest badge in Kayaking last week. Harry completed stage 1 in kayaking with Cahir Kayaking Club and with his leaders helped show our Bree beavers the kayak and gear for their stage 1 paddling badge.
The beavers had great fun last week also trying out all the kayaking gear and learning about water safety as part of their stage 1 paddling badge.
