Moycarkey Coolcrue duo Matthew Ryan & Sean Healy completed the Paris Marathon
On Sunday last two Tipperary athletes were at the starting line for the Paris Marathon and after 26 miles of serious running both dedicated athletes reached the finish line having gone through all the emotions and completed the marathon in the French capital city with style and panache.
Matthew Ryan & Sean Healy are members of Moycarkey Coolcrue athletic club and both are experienced athletes who once more proved their quality by completing the Paris Marathon with fantastic times.
Matthew Ryan set a new personal best for the marathon taking 28 minutes off his previous time as he completed the race in an unbelievable 2 hours 58 minutes and 24 seconds.
This was Sean Healys first marathon this year having previously completed two in 2022 as well as several others across the last decade. He saw this years marathon out in 3 hours 8 minutes and 35 seconds.
Congratulations to both on their fantastic achievement.
