Carrick-on-Suir students donate funds to group helping town's refugees and asylum seekers

Bridgewater House  community liaison officer Martina Walsh and Bridgewater House resident Stephenie Ene Fashola are pictured here accepting a  €320 donation to the Friends of Bridgewater House Committee from the students of Edmund Rice Secondary School.

 The cheque  was the proceeds of a non-uniform day  and was presented  on the occasion Martina and Stephenie  gave a talk to 2nd year students at the Carrick-on-Suir secondary school   on acceptance of different cultures in schools.
