Rural Tipperary school now just one step away from competing in Aviva Stadium

Ballylooby National School boys have now qualified for the Munster Finals on May 10.

BALLYLOOBY NATIONAL SCHOOLS INTO MUNSTER SOCCER FINALS


The FAI Primary School 5’s 2023, the biggest competition in Primary Schools Soccer.
After previously qualifying from the South. Last Friday in Two Mile Borris eight boys represented Ballylooby National School in the County Finals.


Team DJ Brunnick, Noah McCarthy, Darragh Quinlan, Evan Lonergan, Luke O’Donnell, Oisin Savage, Jack Galvin, Liam Klonowski.


They played four 10 minute matches leading to the semi final drawing 1-1, the game then went to penalties, winning 3-2.


Following this titanic tussle they had another very close encounter in the final before winning it by 1-0. Well done to all involved.


The boys have now qualified for the Munster Finals on Wednesday, May 10. A win in this would lead to the National Finals, which would be played in the Aviva Stadium.
