Calls have been made for a zipline to be installed at a popular Tipperary playground "to keep teenagers occupied".
Cllr Jim Ryan said: "I am again calling for a zipwire facility to be installed in Thurles Town Park.
"I just feel the current playground caters for the younger children so the addition of a zip wire would keep the older children and teenagers occupied.
"I have spoken to the council about this previously and I have also contacted the Department seeking funding for it. I await their response."
