FR JIM'S GOLDEN JUBILEE (DUNDRUM NOTES)
As preparations for Fr Jim Egan's Golden Jubilee celebration of his ordination continue, the committee would like to announce that a go fund me page has been set up to facilitate anyone who wants to make a donation towards a presentation on the night on behalf of the parish and his many friends in neighbouring parishes.
The link to the go fund me page can be found on the Facebook pages of both Knockavilla and Donaskeigh Community Councils, and also on Kickhams GAA Facebook page.
There is also donation boxes available in both Heffernan's and Butler's Centra shops in Dundrum, and the offices of Woodco in Donaskeigh, if people would prefer to donate this way.
Fr Jim's mass of thanksgiving take place on Friday, July 7 at 8pm in Knockavilla church, followed by a social night of light refreshments, music and chat in Knockavilla Hall.
This is an open invitation to join us and mark this very special moment in Fr Jim's ministry.
