Tá Daonscol na Mumhan 70 bliain faoi bhláth i mbliana agus tá siad ag cur lá ar fháil dos na múinteoirí chun a gcuid ghaeilge a chleachtadh ‘s a fheabhsú. Beatha teanga í a labhairt.
This year the Daonscoil is offering a fun filled day for teachers to practise and improve their oral Irish, through various activities. The timetable includes singing, rounders, games, seanfhocail etc and a walk on the cunnigar...’ all through irish’!
Dinner is included and all will receive a certificate of completion.
Our local hurling legend Jamie Barron is already signed up and looking forward to the day. His grandmother Eileen McCarthy RIP hailed from Cúl Aodh and was a native irish speaker. Briseann an dúchas.
