Full-programme Heritage Sunday in Cahir will be a great attraction for all Tipperary

The Horsemen (and women) of Éire will be the main attraction at Heritage Sunday in Cahir.

Preparations are well under way for Heritage Sunday and an action-packed weekend around Cahir which will finish with fun activities in the Inch Field.

The Horsemen of Éire will be the main attraction once again this year with their horses and jousting performances.

Others to showcase their activities on the day and give a taste of what they do are the Ardfinnan Canoe Club, Men’s Shed music providers, Galtee Archery, kiddies races, GAA sideshows, outdoor yoga, Tipperary County Council environment road show, chip pan demo, a taste of Ukaraine, historical walks, Bianconi horses and stagecoaches arrive at 3pm and its finished off with ‘Loose Cannons in Cahir House Hotel from 5-7pm and much more. 


This is a free event and a fun day for the family which sees the weekend start with  festival feel Comhaltas on Friday night at 8.30pm, Saturday festivities at the farmers market and as usual for Heritage week its free admission to the Swiss Cottage and Cahir castle with live music at the Swiss in the afternoon.
