Adjudicators Ruth and John Connolly
A most enjoyable night was had by all who attended the Moyne Mid-Summer Ball on Saturday, July 15.
A friendly welcome was afforded to all by the organising committee.
The fantastic music provided by Brendan and Patricia Lee accompanied by TR Dallas, together with delicious food ensured a wonderful atmosphere.
Kay Carey and her hard-working committee must be congratulated for staging this event.
A waltzing competition was held on the night with fourteen couples participating. The adjudicators were the well-known ballroom and Latin champions, Ruth and John Connolly.
The dancing was of a very high standard, leaving Ruth and John with the difficult task of choosing the winning couple and two runners-up.
In first place were Martin and Angela Pollard.
In second place were John Foley and Maire Wixted and in third place were Jim McCormack and Anne O’Mahoney.
In reality, all fourteen couples were winners.
Congratulations to all.
