The whole country got to see Hayes at his brilliant best in the two county final games, and his crucial goal in the replay epitomised his attributes. His pace was incredible for that goal and that has been a hallmark of his play all year, burning defenders with regularity. A shoe-in for the Tipp seniors if Cahill has sense!!
