14. Darragh McCarthy (Toomevara)
A young man who made one of the biggest impressions of any player in this year's competition was Darragh McCarthy. Still only 18 he has so much potential and to deliver performances like he has in his first year of adult hurling is incredible. He had experienced defenders on toast in so many games, but his scoring-taking ability is highly impressive. He hit 2-34 for the Greyhounds with 2-13 of that coming from play. He has rich potential.
