Man pleads guilty to having stolen generator worth over €5,000 outside Tipperary property

Nenagh District Court: Man pleads guilty to having stolen generator worth over €5,000 outside Tipperary property

A victim personal statement has been sought by Judge John King at Nenagh District Court in a case where a defendant pleaded guilty to handling stolen property.

Joe Hutchinson of 6 Rossfields, Tallaght, Dublin, pleaded to having a petrol generator valued at €5,173, knowing it to be stolen, at Ballyvillane, Nenagh, on March 16, 2023.

The court heard that a premises had been burgled a few days previously and the generator stolen.

The generator was later found outside Mr Hutchinson’s abode.

Judge King adjourned the case to February 16, 2024.
