Former Tipperary senior hurling manager Colm Bonnar and his family
It was heartbreak for the two Tipperary families in the finale of Ireland's Fittest Family on RTÉ on Sunday evening.
The Bonnars - led by former Tipperary hurler and senior manager Colm from Cashel along with Cillian, Saoirse and Aishling - ultimately knocked out the Byrnes family from Tipperary Town in an eliminator in the finale.
The Byrnes - made up of Tommy, Aoife, Tony and Cathal, put in a huge performance but ultimately came up short to the Bonnars.
With three families then left in the competition, the Bonnars came up against two other families in the iconic "Hang Tough" test and the team with the lowest time would be eliminated.
It wasn't to be for the Waterford-based family who finished last in the challenge with only seconds between them and the eventual winners of the competition, the Staffords from Cavan.
