Richie Molloy thanked everyone who participated

The car treasure hunt held in Clonmel on St Stephen's Day was the most successful for many years.

The event started at The Showgrounds shopping centre and finished at the Princess Bar in Irishtown.

One of the organisers, Family Carers manager Richie Molloy, who is also Mayor of Clonmel, was delighted with its success.

"Thanks to everyone who supported our car treasure hunt," he stated.

"Over 30 car loads participated, so it was our most successful in many years.

"Thanks again to the Princess Bar for their usual hospitality and providing such a great atmosphere," he added.
