This Sunday on Raised by the Village on RTÉ One, families from Galway and Tipperary will be mentoring Drogheda teen Ava and Lucan teen Megan.
13-year-old beauty obsessive Megan from Lucan is sent to The Mac Giolla Coda Family Farm in the village of Burncourt, Co. Tipperary.
The Mac Giolla Coda family are honey farmers and make-up addict Megan must learn to not only live without her precious mobile phone but also her cosmetics since synthetic smells agitate The Mac Giolla Coda’s ten million bees!

Meanwhile surly Drogheda teen Ava travels to The Larkin Family’s cattle farm in the village of Abbey, in east Galway. Landing in the middle of the family’s busy breeding season Ava must park her surly attitude and knuckle down to a new life of hard work and passionate engagement with The Larkin’s prize herd of breeding Simmental Cattle.
