Formed in 1977, Nenagh Ormond Brass Band has become a cornerstone of North Tipperary’s cultural life, performing at community events, parades, and charity fundraisers throughout the region. The band continues to play a vital role in maintaining and celebrating the area’s musical heritage.

Misneach, a community choir based in Nenagh, will join the brass band for the performance. The group, made up of fifteen women and one man, is known for its energetic and heartfelt approach to choral music. In a message ahead of the concert, the choir said:

“We are so excited to be joining the Nenagh Ormond Brass Band as their guests on Friday 7th November in St Mary’s of the Rosary Nenagh at 7.30 for their night of amazing music! All donations on the night go to Suaimhneas Cancer Support Centre Nenagh.”

The choir will perform its charity single Everybody Hurts alongside several of its favourite songs. Both ensembles are encouraging the public to attend and enjoy an evening of music in support of a local cause.
