HILARIOUS! Tipperary gardaí issue warning to motorists as sub-zero cold snap hits

An Garda Síochána Tipperary have urged the people of Tipperary to ensure their windscreens are clear before departing on their journeys.

They instructed drivers to make sure that their entire windscreen was clear of any frost before setting off.

Posting on social media, An Garda Síochána provided numerous ways in which drivers can pass the time while they wait for their windscreens to clear.

They said: "We really need to see you .........................

"We want to see more of you this Winter........

"Frosty mornings here again & we need everyone driving to take the time to clear ALL their windscreens & windows before the journey starts.

"Watch some of the beautiful sunrises while your car defrosts or drink your morning tea in the garden while your dog does their morning 'clearing.'

"Whatever you do, CLEAR all your windscreen/windows."
