Nunaïa Founder, Nicola Connolly
The Nationwide team travelled to film with Nunaïa Founder, Nicola Connolly, highlighting the brand’s journey from North Tipperary to international acclaim, as well as its upcoming appearance at Showcase Ireland, the country’s premier trade show for Irish craft and design.

Nicola, who lives in North Tipperary near Borrisokane, founded Nunaïa (pronounced noo-nigh-ya) after spending more than a decade working with indigenous communities in the Galapagos Islands, the Ecuadorian Amazon and the Peruvian Andes.
During this time, she witnessed first-hand the powerful impact that sustainable, ethical business models can have on families, communities and the planet and brought this wealth of knowledge home.
Nunaïa brings together ancestral plant wisdom and modern green beauty innovation, creating certified organic skincare products that nourish both skin and wellbeing.
The range includes the Earth Blossom Moisturising Cream, Nourishing Radiance Serum, Superfood Cleansing Balm and Sacred Space Candle.
Nationwide will spotlight Nunaïa’s participation in Showcase Ireland, which runs from 18–20 January 2026 at the RDS, Dublin. The three-day event presents the very best of Irish craft and design to buyers, placing Nunaïa among Ireland’s leading creative and sustainable brands.
Speaking ahead of the broadcast, Founder Nicola Connolly said:
