A man was hospitalised after attempting to ingest drugs when approached by gardaí in Carrick-on-Suir on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred in the Quay area of Carrick-on-Suir around on 9pm on January 21.
A Clonmel Garda Station spokesman said the man was removed to hospital following the incident and the matter is currently under investigation.
