The Abbey Court Hotel in Nenagh proudly welcomed the Dr. Harty Cup-winning St. Joseph’s CBS Nenagh U19 A hurling team on Saturday night, marking a special occasion for the players.
Eoghan Doughan struck 0-12 in a man-of-the-match performance before lifting Nenagh CBS’s second Harty Cup in front of 6,909 fans after a fierce tussle with St Flannan’s at Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg.
As official team sponsors, the Abbey Court Hotel hosted the victorious squad, along with management and supporters, as celebrations continued following their historic Harty Cup triumph.
A compilation video capturing the highlights of the evening was also shared on the hotel’s social media channels, showcasing moments from the reception
The gathering highlighted the strong partnership between the school and the Nenagh-based hotel, which has supported the team throughout their campaign.
Sharing the moment on social media, the Abbey Court Hotel expressed their delight at hosting the champions, posting:
“We were delighted to welcome Harty Cup 2026 Winner – St. Joseph’s CBS Nenagh here tonight!”
The reception added to what has been a memorable period for St. Joseph’s CBS Nenagh, with the Harty Cup victory being celebrated across the town and wider community, reflecting the pride felt in the school’s achievement.
