Gardaí in Tipperary have arrested a driver following an alert on their Automatic Number Plate Recognition.
The driver was found to be driving without a license, insurance, or an NCT.

The driver then failed a roadside breath test, after gardaí noticed several empty alcohol cans in the vehicle, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, and will have a court date to come.

They posted on social media, saying: "Earlier, Tipperary RPU were patrolling the Cahir area when we stopped this car after an ANPR alert. We found the driver had No Licence/ Insurance/ NCT. We noticed numerous empty cans of alcohol in the vehicle.
The driver Failed a Roadside Breath Test, was Arrested on suspicion of Drink Driving and the vehicle was seized. Court to follow.
Please never ever drive under the influence."
