The 23 year-old pedestrian killed in a road traffic collision on the N24 Limerick to Waterford Road at Ballykisteen, Tipperary last week was a Romanian immigrant.
Gardai have still not released the name of the man, who died after he was struck by a car at approximately 8pm last Tuesday, November 1.
The accident victim lived at Kyle, Tipperary and was a factory worker, who had relatives living in Ireland.
Gardai have re-issued their appeal to anyone who witnessed the accident or with information that may assist their investigation, particularly those travelling on the N24 at Ballykisteen between 7.45pm and 8.15pm on November 1 to contact Tipperary Garda Station on (062) 80670, the Garda confidential Line at 1800 666111 or any Garda station.
