Man charged in relation to vandalism of Tipperary Town pub

Gardai have arrested and charged a man in connection with smashing many of the ground floor windows of The Churchwell Bar in Tipperary Town in August. 

The Tipperary Town man aged in his 30s was arrested under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act on Thursday, September 6 and detained for questioning in connection with the vandalism of the Church Street based bar at 2.05am on Saturday, August 11 when the pub was closed and empty. 

The man was subsequently charged in connection with the crime and will appear before Tipperary District Court in October.
